Overbed table – is one kind of table that can be adjusted and positioned above a bed. This bed is usually used in hospital to serve foods to patients who cannot move from their bed. Therefore, the patients can just sit still in the bed while the table is approaching them. However, since bed is very comfortable place to do some activities like drawing, writing, and reading, there are new ideas to serve those people.

In order to make it easier, additional feature is added. The feature is adjustable angle of the table. Therefore, the writers can write without hassle even by lying their body down. However, this kind of table makes people lazy since they will be likely to stay on bed any time.

There are two innovations that are usually presented. The first is adding cabinets or new panel for storing purpose. The second innovation is stacked panel that can be expanded to create wider table. Both of the new ideas give more functions for the table to make people easy in doing writing or drawing activities.
